General Terms and Conditions of mobile services provided by
Trident Telecom Ventures Limited
Trident Prepaid SIM Cards ("the SIM Cards") and all services
using the SIM cards and all associated services are made available
to customers by Trident Telecom Ventures Limited ("Trident")
subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Use of SIM Card or any of the services with or through the SIM
card constitutes acceptance by the customer of the terms and conditions
contained herein.
- The SIM Card once purchased is non-refundable.
- The SIM Card must be activated on or before the expiry date
printed on cardholder certificate and/or the package. If the SIM
card is not activated within the specified period the SIM Card
shall become invalid. All unused prepaid amount shall be forfeited
and shall be non-refundable.
- The SIM Card provides customer with local and IDD call service
according to local airtime charges and IDD tariff published by
Trident. Trident has the right to adjust the rates for call charges
by publication of new rates on its website at www.tridenttelecom.com.hk
provided that such adjustment shall not be of retrospective effect
for any service rendered before the date of publication.
- Local calls and services (if applicable) are charged on a per
minute basis and rounded up to the nearest minute for each call.
- When making an IDD call, the IDD call charges shall also be
added to local airtime charges. IDD airtime shall be charged on
a per minute basis and rounded up to the nearest minute. Local
airtime shall be charged on a per minute basis, rounded up to
nearest minute.
- If the SIM card is damaged, faulty or contains mal-function,
Trident may at its discretion replace the SIM Card, which is subject
to the payment of handling charges for card replacement.
- All question and disputes regarding the airtime charges, remaining
credit and expiry date of SIM Card shall be decided by Trident
at its own discretion or in accordance with the records of Trident
and this decision shall be final unless the customer can prove
otherwise.
- Trident does not provide refund or make any transfer for:
9.1 any unused value of the SIM Card whether before or after its
expiry date;
9.2 any value of Recharge card directed to an incorrect SIM Card
during the recharge process;
9.3 any value of SIM Card being utilized by fraudulent and unauthorized
use of the SIM Card;
9.4 any value in a lost SIM Card.
- In case of lost SIM Card, Trident shall not be responsible
or liable for any value of the lost SIM Card being utilized during
the period of loss.
- Trident reserves the right to terminate or suspend the service
of SIM Card ("Service") should there be in the reasonable
opinion of Trident that the SIM Card has been, or is likely to
be fraudulent, illegal or there has been improper use of services
through the use of SIM Card.
- Trident shall use its reasonable effort to maintain its system
and facilities, however Trident shall not be liable for any claim
loss and damages suffered by customers or any third party arising
from the failure, damages or mal-functioning of its switching
system, network, computer, control system, alarm and alert system,
power supply system and related facilities or those of any third
parties with whom Trident has any interconnections.
- Trident reserves the right, at anytime, to amend any and all
terms and conditions contained herein provided such amendment
is published on the aforesaid website of Trident before it becomes
effective.
